You may register with local churches or with your social worker at the Department of Social Development.
Please bring official government ID for yourself, spouse/partner (if applicable) and for each of your children.
Registration is open Oct 1 with a firm deadline of Nov 16th. Due to logistics, we cannot accept exceptions so please apply early.
Each child will receive a gift card. We do not know the value as it depends on money raised from our Nov 21st telethon as well as the number of children registered.
The church or agency you register with will contact you to pick up your gift cards
The Empty Stocking Fund is proud to be supporting Children in need in the greater Saint John area since 1912. Our mission is to raise funds so that children have a joyful holiday season.
Each child can only be registered once.
Children qualify if they are 1 or older(born before Dec 31, 2019) or 12 and under (born after Jan 1, 2007)
How does this work?
The Christmas Exchange in another organization locally that helps those in need at Christmas by supporting Churches/Agencies to provide households with a Christmas dinner.
Registration for 2020 is open Nov 2 until Dec 11. Check with your local Church/Agency for details.
Please register all people living at your address with one church or agency.
Current government ID is needed for each person.
Important: You cannot register more than once.
All information is sent to the Saint John Christmas Exchange office to ensure there is no duplication. The Church/Agency that you register with will provide for you and will advise when to pick up your gift card/basket.
